If possible, clean wound and apply powder after bleeding resumes; blood must be present for powder to work. 1. Twist cap to remove. Puncture foil with end of cap to open. 2. Invert tube to pour powder onto bleeding wound to cover completely with powder. 3. Press for 30 seconds to form a protective seal (scab) and stop bleeding. Repeat application as needed. The protective scab may be left in place until it falls off naturally. Avoid wetting scab for 1 hour.Occasionally, a temporary warming or stinging sensation may be felt upon application.
