Buena Vista Drug offers personalized compounded medications, vaccinations, medication synchronization, oral contraceptive consultation, assistance with smoking cessation, medication/supplement consultations, home or office delivery, and more.
Lucas Smith, pharmacist and owner of Buena Vista Drug, was born and raised in Colorado Springs. He graduated from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy, and started working at Buena Vista Drug in July of 2014. Lucas and his wife purchased Buena Vista Drug in August of 2017. Lucas has earned several recognitions as a pharmacist including the Colorado Pharmacists Society Young Pharmacist of the Year, the 2019 Clinical Innovation Award, and a front page feature on Pharmacy Today. Lucas and his family are excited to continue to expand Buena Vista Drug and bring new services and the highest standard of care to the community. In his free time, Lucas enjoys spending time with family, running, cooking, and woodworking.
